googletv-issues - issue #146
Are Google TV developers even interested in customers feedback?
Out of 77 issues (condensed, there were more of course) only 4 were started.
It is usually easier to provide feedback for Google products, receive updates (both in terms of software and posts) and see action. Google TV blog is rarely updated, we don't know what's the direction Google wants to take with TV, we got 1 major update in 2 years, Chrome is better on my Nexus 4. Flash is in such bad shape that only HBO Go and Crackle work, barely.
Fine. there's a lot of pressure from cable, content providers, etc. and lot of behind the curtain deals, but in 2 years nothing really changed.
Some of us paid north of 1k to be guinea pigs and we weren't even treated as such! The nexus Q got better support to its customers, a botched idea if I'd ever seen one.
This post will likely be deleted, but I believe this is the biggest issue of all. Please follow up.

Posted on Feb 8, 2013 by Massive GiraffeGoogle is obviously not interested in feedback. They have this process just to appease us. It would be interesting to see what has been achieved by this. Google please tell me what updates have happened as a result of feedback from customers.Flash is obviously included but you haven't done anything about it. I've lost faith in the company, so here's your opportunity to highlight the positives of GTV.

Posted on May 19, 2013 by Quick RhinoThis issue tracker is not for consumer issues it is for developer issues. For consumer issues you can provide feedback to the device manufacturer of the device you are having issues with. If you have a development problem related to the platform api's please post the issue with enough information for the reproduction of the problem.
Thank you for your continued interest in Google TV.
