Let an additional class handle softkeyboards layouts loading and switching with possible improvements : - Multilanguage support - swipe keyboard for symbols - swipe down keyboard for more compact layout - Dynamic loading of external (user configurable) xml layouts ?

Why not make extkeyboardremapper compatible with the many existing layouts from:

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xkeyboard-config/tree/symbols?h=2.2-branch

On Ubuntu and probably most other Linux systems, these files are found in:

/usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/

At least for now, the gb file can serve as a guide to help me make a k2g.cfg.
