Pancil application will start up. Instead, get error message that pencil quit unexpectedly with options to send error rot, ignore, or reopen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 2.0.2 works. Either of the two later bundles fail with error described above. I'm running OS X 10.9

For developers... Could it be that it needs to be packaged with an updated xulrunner? The packaged version is 17.0 but the latest distributed runtime is 24.0. Here's the error Rob describes minus the complete dump. My work around is to open pencil in a VM to get to my diagrams.
