What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a new file. 2. Create a textbox and set the label (string content) to "abc". 3. Save it. 4. Open it and the label is empty instead of "abc". 5. However, if I double click the textbox, "abc" will appear again.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"abc" expected but got an empty string.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Pencil 2.0.3 on Ubuntu 12.10

Posted on Dec 17, 2013 by Grumpy MonkeyI have the same problem on Windows 8 Pro 64bit with Pencil 2.0.5. Also using "Desktop - Native UI Widgets".
The problem is NOT reproducible on Pencil 2.0.3, so I'll be using that until this bug is fixed.
It seems the bug was introduced between 2.0.3 and 2.0.5.
