Would it be possible to add some sort of full screen support (preferably native Lion and Mt. Lion full screen support)?

I've tried the full screen feature in Mac OSX Mt. Lion (10.8) and I cannot get out of full screen mode.

I should mention that part of the screen is cut off, almost like the bounds of the full screen mode are bigger than the desktop size. So, the top menu bar that slides down does not appear. I'm stuck in full screen mode.
