What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a multi-page document 2. Download Simple Text Export Template from Evolus 3. Install downloaded template using Manage Templates->Install New Template... button. 4. Error message "Error installing template" appears.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Template imports fine and I can export my document to PDF.

What is occurring is that: - Getting Error Installing template message. - Attempting to export PDF file causes a window to pop up that says "exporting to html". - A pdf document is created with the same number of pages as in my multi-page document. - Each page in the pdf file is blank.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Standalone Pencil 1.3.4 on Windows 7 64 Bit Standalone Pencil 1.3.4 on Windows XP 32 Bit

Please provide any additional information below. I successfully installed other templates from the Evolus site.

It is only the Simple Text Export Template that is causing problems.

I uninstalled pencil, ran ccleaner, reinstalled pencil, tried to load template again with the same error occurring.

I have seen this same issue, with a variant. It seems that depending on the order of installation of the templates (Simple text, Simple html etc) I either see the above problem or I see the following error when attempting to export to pdf.

The text in the above dialog is: Component returned failure code: 0x80600001 [nsIXSLTProcessor.importStylesheet]

Using v2.0.3 and still seeing this behavior.

I'm using v2.0.3

I've tried on two different computers Win XP machine and an Ubuntu machine.

Two different versions of Firefox.

The outcome is the same on both machines.

Export to PDF ends up with a blank PDF

Export to PNG doesn't output anything

export to HTML hangs

v2.0.3 is suppose to be satable, but it's no good if you can't export your work

I have the same PDF export problem with version 2.0.3 (standalone) on Windows 8.

Pencil Version 2.0.3 on Mac OS 10.8.2. Cannot install the templates for exporting to HTML. I downloaded the templates from http://code.google.com/p/evoluspencil/downloads/list?q=label:Template

Me too. Windows 8.1, Evolus Pencil 2.0.5,Android.GUI_v2.zip and AndroidSketching-1.0.zip.

When I first installed Pencil I think I installed both of these but they appeared twice in the Collections panel so I uninstalled them and ow I cant install either of them

As a work around I was able to create a new Stencil Collection/ Template and import the newly created one-

1. Unzip the template that wont install to a folder

2. In Pencil go Tools->Developer Tools->Stencil Generator

3. Drag Icons from unzipped folder into the Stencil Generator Dialog's Select Images list box Fill in other fields Click Next Click Finish Select a File Name to Save it as. The progress dialog will not close when the completed dialog is shown so you have to close it even though it looks like ir is still running

4. Import the newly created template by Tools-> Install New Collection and select your newly created zip file

That worked for me.
