What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Try to import a stencil (that worked on 1.2) 2. Get an Exception message in the bottom of the window
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect the stencil to be imported. I get an exception instead. Sometime the application simply dies and closes silently.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Pencil 1.3.2 on Windows 7 x64. it-IT locale.
Please provide any additional information below. The stencils I tried importing are Roman Nurik's Android UI stencils (v0.2) and your own version. They did all work on Pencil 1.2. I tried a clean install deleting all data from %appdata%...\Pencil, but nothing changed. I'm attaching a screenshot of the exception message.
I'd also spend a minute recommending you to not show exceptions in the bottom bar over glass, and the same goes for the nearly-invisible image-based buttons on the top of the window. I also found out in settings that both the SVN and bitmap editing tools paths are Unix-style (eg /usr/bin/sketchpad) instead of Windows-style, despite this being a WIndows install.

Posted on Nov 15, 2011 by Massive WombatI have exactly the same issue. Both on Mac and Windows standalone versions. The Firefox version works fine.

Posted on Jul 24, 2012 by Happy KangarooI found that with v1.3.4, I cannot install the Android stencils from the download link.
The zip file here:
http://code.google.com/p/evoluspencil/downloads/detail?name=Android-4.0-Stencils.zip
contains a .svn directory inside the zip. You should do an "svn export" to create a zip without source repository metadata.
If I repackage the zip and remove the .svn directory, the stencils install fine for me.
pencil version 1.3.4 (running standalone on debian squeeze linux -- manually installed from the fedora standalone RPM). I'm using xulrunner 13.0.1-1, 64-bit.
