What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a text field 2. Right click on the text field > Properties 3. Default font size is 5

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I think the default font size on editing panel could be the same as the default for the newly added text field.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Version 1.1 build 1

Please provide any additional information below. I always forget to change the size to a higher value, and in consequence i always have to edit it again. I'm getting a default of 5, even if the text in the field (when added for the first time to the canvas) is bigger.

I forgot to mention the OS: Ubuntu Jaunty.

In 1.2 build 0 it's defaulting to 12, at least on Windows XP.
