As of Pencil 1.2 i can import new stencils via control + click -> install new collection or menu tools -> install new collection

My setup: * pencil 1.2 (ff extension, not stand alone) * firefox 3.6.10 * snow leopard

I think one should close the ticket as invalid or works-for-me
