When using wifi-radar I couldn't connect to WPA2-PSK wifi network. When I installed wicd I had no problems at all. Just entered password and everything was working out of box :) Also it's much more user friendlier than wifi-radar as it automatically detects all needed configuration data and I did not need to select any other parameters other than password.

Posted on Jun 27, 2008 by Helpful CatI've had a look at wicd - and it meets the 'low dependencies' criteria nicely (though I'm not sure I like the daemon idea).
This'll be something for the EeeDora 9 release, since I plan to build out (and publish) a set of RPMs to handle additional packages (more elegant than the current tarball method)
