dataquota - issue #37

Hebrew translation missing

Posted on Jul 9, 2010 by Helpful Bear

I have installed the app on my e72, thinking it will be very useful. For some reason, it doesn't look anything like the screenshots, and I can't seem to operate it. I have included somes screenshots of how it looks on my device and would appreciate your comments.

Looks like the Hebrew translation isn't being included properly. Thanks for reporting this, I'll check it out.

In the meantime a workaround is to change the phone's language to English, re-install, and then you can change the phone language back to Hebrew. Data Quota will then show in English.

OK, please can you test the attached file and let me know if it works?

If it does, I'll make a proper release next week. Thanks!

Thanks. It now displays Hebrew in the menus and on the main screen, but in the main screen it is shown in mirror-like way - from left to right instead of right to left. The menus are displayed correctly.

Ok, I'll take a look at that. Please could you attach a screenshot? Thanks.

Hi, This is what the main screen looks now. It's not really mirrored, but spelled backwards.

Hello. Please can you try the attached file and let me know if it works? It'd be great if you could attach a screenshot whether it works or doesn't. Thanks again!

Hi. Now it looks like there are no headlines in the main screen at all. Please check the attached screenshot.

HI. Hebrew alright now. Notice there's a "right to left" on the lower right side.

Great, thanks for all the help testing this out!

This is fixed in r95 and released in Data Quota 1.30: http://code.google.com/p/dataquota/downloads/list

The "right to left" is just some debugging information in the test version, I've removed it from the proper version.

I believe the bars should also be drawn from right-to-left as well, I'll consider doing that for a future release.
