What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.Opened the webserver port. Enabled the webserver. Boxee-remote cant connect. On android i set up manuali the ip and port but no luck. 2. 3.

Was your android device is on the same wifi network as the Boxee machine? Or were you trying to use 3G?

I have also had issues with this, although it seems to be very hit or miss. I am always using the same wifi, and can confirm I am connected because I wake up my Boxee machine with a Wake On Lan client on my phone.

It seems to be sporadic, sometimes connecting with no problems, sometimes intermittent (every once in a while during use), or sometimes completely broken (doesn't work at all). I always tried to "scan," which often works, but when it doesn't, I manually enter the host information. Sometimes this helps, sometimes not.

I don't have time now, but if would be helpful I can try to replicate the problem and post logs later.

Any help with finding the cause of this problem would be appreciated. Thanks for offering.

I have the same issue.. it will not connect

installed boxee on win7 x64 and installed app on my motorola droid. it is connected to same wifi network. does not detect/connect to server. tried manually setting ip and port.
