example files conditional comment does not take IE8 into account
the example file should probably be more like if ie lt 8 or the like
IE8 beta is out and it seems to render pretty well, no need for hacks

Posted on Mar 6, 2008 by Happy HorseIt's way more complex than that. IE 8 has two rendering modes, and it still isn't certain how these modes will work, or how they will be differentiated with conditional comments. So until that's decided, I vote for change nothing and wait.
