Add more routers names

Posted on Jul 20, 2012 by Happy Wombat

Hi,

Thanks for great app :)

You can add the routers Vodafone and Optimus for search? In Portugal, the ISP change Thomson for Vodafone or Optimus...

Example: Original: Thomson04985B ISP change: Vodafone04985B

Can you add this routers?

Thanks

If you use Thomson instead of Vodafone in the manual input, does it calculates a correct key?

Vodafone-9A8010 MAC:08:76:FF:9A:80:10

Yes, Vodafone is with hyphen.

Vodafone-XXXXXX (with hyphen) OptimusXXXXXX (without hyphen) OptimusFibraXXXXXX (without hyphen) MEO-XXXXXX (with hyphen)

XXXXXX is the hexadecimal Thomson ESSID (example: 9A8010)

I really doubt that the current algorithm works for these routers.

When the end of the MAC address is equal to the end of the MAC address this usually means that these routers use a new type of algorithm that is unsupported. Maybe this theory is wrong.

For Vodafone-9A8010, you have said that you got the key. Can you get the MAC address for that one?

In Portugal the ISP have old and new routers. Most of all are old and the name is always the same. Vodafone or Optimus as i said...

For Vodafone-9A8010 i haven't the key.

I try with Optimus580999 and success. Put Thomson580999 in manual input and i get the right key. MAC for Optimus580999 is 58:98:35:58:09:99

I try with Vodafone-56DD49 and success. Put Thomson580999 in manual input and i get the right key. MAC for Vodafone-56DD49 is 58:98:35:56:DD:49

I test another's but the keys don't work. Not 100% success, but 50 a 60%...
