ampacheberry - issue #3

not connected to server

i get not connected to server . how to fix it ? and in options , what URL, user and password should be given ?

You must have your own Ampache server to connect to. Use you Ampache server's address along with your own username and password.

Hi, I Use my ampache server's address & password like with amarok but i get "not connected to server". With Amarok it's ok, not with ampacheberry, why?

A couple of issue that might affect the connection are as follows. Is Ampache version 3.5 or greater? Do you know if you need a secure connection, i.e. https? With a little more info, I can hopefully find a solution. Which BlackBerry model and OS are you using?

I ran into this issue, and it was due to a default installation of Ampache on Ubuntu (older version).

I was able to fix this by: 1) Updated the Ampache installation including configuration files and automated DB upgrade. 2) Adding ACL's for API/Streaming access for my account. Because I upgraded, the ACL's weren't created automatically.
