Round brackets in the manual equation 4 (page 9) seems to be misplaced or unnecessary.

I do agree that such representation is somewhat ambiguous, but I do not know a better simple way to show memory requirements in a single equation for several execution modes.

Posted on Dec 28, 2014 by Happy GiraffeNobody reads manual in details for a quick estimate, sorry. May be you can try to use \overbrace or \underbrace LaTeX commands equivalent with "only if parallel" caption. This will give a quick visual hint inside the formula scope.
