Phase-Requirements

Introduction

This page holds the client application's requirements

Use Cases

Sending messages

Ad Hoc SMS

Pre set Service SMS

Configuration and client administration

Create SMS Service

Configure application

The application has two ways of sending SMS messages:

  • send SMS directly from the device
This is equivalent with the user sending out the SMS the old fashioned way.

  • send SMS via Server

This option is significantly cheaper but less reliable. The beauty of it is Service Providers can actually take on the cost of the SMS message. They will still get the customer's details as they would normally do but this would make their service more attractive to their customers. The down side of this service is that it would not work with Premium SMS services. A good scenario where this could be an option is for example a Non Governmental Organization's project where the target users of the service cannot afford to send out SMS messages.
