PyCon 2009 Programming Sprint

Attend 2009 http://us.pycon.org/2009/about/ to participate in a Twitterbase programming sprint. Here is an optimistic

to-do for the sprint days:

  • Use Amazon S3 service as a data store to supplement BerkeleyDB database binding
  • Create simple programming language that includes: conditionals (if/then and while loop)

and user-defined functions

  • Support for an array data structure and data object references (like pointers)
  • Directly integrate Twitter API as built-in functions (direct message, status post, etc.)
  • Support of external REST web services (Google, Freebase, etc.)
  • Add notification features (time-based, data-based...such as change in data)
  • Support multiple users calling functions simultaneously
  • Provide each user a pay-to-access section using Twitpay (http://twitpay.me/).
