What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downloading "Your Tweets" and viewing in Excel

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Example 1:
I expected: He's
I see instead: He’s

Example 2:
I expected Kähler
I see instead: Kähler

I assumed that Twitter used unicode so downloading to Excel wouldn't be a
problem?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The version at http://tweetake.com/
On Windows XP Home Edition SP3

The problems with characters outside the basic English character set should
now be fixed as the code translates what is received from Twitter into
UTF-16 (Excel's preferred Unicode representation) before download.
