Usage
Translation Sidebar ExtensionIntroductionThe goal behind my Translation Sidebar Extension for Firefox is to allow to quickly an efficiently do term translation and definition using my most frequently-used tools in Spanish-to-English translation: Babylon translator, WordReference.com translation, and Real Academia Espnola. These basic tools provide you with enough insight into term meanings and definitions to assist in document translation. UsageSidebar PanelTo access the translation sidebar panel, go to Tools > Translation Sidebar, or press the key combination CTRL-ALT-R. Translating/defining a termTo translate or define a term, select your search provider from the buttons at the top, enter your word into the textbox provided, and press ENTER or the Go button. The results will appear up the space under the search box. Most links in the results pages will open in new tab in Firefox. Others, such as related definitions, will still load in the sidebar. Translating a term from a websiteTo translate or define a term from a website, simply select the text on the page, right-click on the selection and choose Translate with Babylon, Define with RAE, or Translate with WordReference. The results will appear as usual in the sidebar panel. |
