New Maps don't have all of the features of old World system yet:

1. Handling the rendering of Actors is being changed drastically and still needs to be implemented.
2. None of the keyboard input features have been implemented.
3. None of the mouse features have been implemented.
4. The attacking action is being changed drastically.
5. The 'Grid-ing' of Actors (translating between Actor location and a grid coordinate system is being changed drastically to make some huge improvements in Grid search times.
6. The Grid it self has been deferred to a class and isn't implemented yet.

Additional features that the New Maps system has planned:
1. Lighting : The new Maps system already has a placeholder for lighting a scene.
1a. Lighting will probably require some sort of buffered rendering which shouldn't be terribly hard to set up.
2. Masking : The new Maps system already has a placeholder for only rendering what is within a PCs field of vision
3. Renderables : The new Maps system will have a sorted Collection of renderables. This will allow things to be hidden under other things. (ie, Actors on top of Corpse or Loot Doodads, Bush Doodads on top of Actors)

1. Rendering of Actors is now implemented.

Actors are held by a class (IMapEntity) which handles any interaction between Maps and the Actor itself (rendering, clicks, movement, location, collision, etc...). Rendering is the only functionality of IMapEntity that has been implemented so far.
