XMLStructure
XML structure
Updated Feb 4, 2010 by luisestr...@gmail.com

XStream basically takes care of this: http://xstream.codehaus.org/tutorial.html

This is a sample xml structure for the data:

<game name="game name" startingRoom="15">
  <room id="15" description="The starting room." northRoom="-1" southRoom="11" westRoom="-1" eastRoom="-1">
  </room>
  <room id="11" description="The room below the starting room" northRoom="15" southRoom="-1" westRoom="-1" eastRoom="-1">
  </room>
</game>

This is more HTML inspired but would we consider using this format: <room id="15"> <state="1" northRoom="-1" southRoom="11" westRoom="-1" eastRoom="-1">The starting room before something happens.</state> <state="2" northRoom="-1" southRoom="-1" westRoom="-1" eastRoom="-1">The starting room after a cave in. looks like your gonna be here a while.</state> </room> Also, objects? Or do we want to shy away from states and objects on the first build?

Again, I'd like to request something on the room syntax. We do have a title for the room, but I would like to have a title for the room states as well, when we get arround to them. For instance the room "Cavern" would have a state 13 called "Colapsed". It would work again like the room ID where we could see the state number but the user would just see "Colapsed".
