Jon

September

  • 29th - Finish State editor for rooms.

October

  • 13th - Finish objects including states.
  • 27th - Finish command list update, and hopefully grammer.

November

  • 10th - Finish an active representation grid of the TAG.
  • 24th - Finish characters if posible.

William

  • September 21st - Draft a formal specification for the general Markup Language used to describe the game; this needs only to formalize the minimum amount required for the first version (i.e., descriptions, basic errors, room links, etc.)
  • September 28th - Finalize draft, prototype of XML parsing methods to introduce in Game class
  • October 12th - Final version of parsing methods, begin updating markup specification to introduce items, events, etc. I think this is roughly when we should have a running, albeit it bare, game.
  • And Then? - Maintain a clear, concise, but extremely general markup structure which affords the game designer the most expressive range.

September

September 22: Begin to take in the file that everyone gives me and read the input from the gamers commands. The range of inputs the gamer could give will be constantly updated. September 29: The first commands that should be supported are he basic 5 commands: move S, N, E, W, and X (examine).

October

October 13: Start working with syntax and proper and improper grammer
that the gamer can and can't use in the game.
Basically start handling legal and illegal commands.
And Then? Update the commands that these guys want me to support and update the grammer and syntax (allowed and not allowed) based on these commands.
