Lateral transfer from https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=907169 Mozilla declines for ESR17, so we will take it locally for 17.0.9 and 22.0.2. Thanks to our Tenfourbird friends for the patch.

This is the underlying issue with issue 200. Checked into 17.0.9 (22.0.2 pending).
