A step-by-step tutorial on how to log into Brainiac.

This tutorial will show you how to do the following:

  • Create a new account
  • Load an account
  • Log into an account

Note: To be able to play Brainiac, users must either have an existing account, or create a new one.


Creating a new account

  1. From the start-up screen, click on the "Create New Account" button.
2. Fill in the required information.
In Brainiac, a username is valid only if it is unique. Therefore, to check if a username you wish to use is valid, enter it into the corresponding box, then click on the check mark to the right. This verifies whether the username you entered is valid. If not, please enter a different one.
When you are done, click on the check mark at the bottom of the screen.
3. Your new account has now been successfully created. To start playing, click on the "Log-in" button on the startup screen.

Loading an existing account

This feature loads your account from a storage device, into the computer you are currently working at.

1. At the startup screen, click on the "Load Account" button.

2. Locate your account, then click on the check mark.

3. Your account has now been successfully load into your computer. To start playing, click on the "Log -in" button on the startup screen.


Logging into an existing account

1. At the startup screen, click on the "Log-in" button.

2. When prompted, enter your username and password. If you are an administrator, click on use the drop-down button to change the account type to "administrator". Then click on the check mark.

3. If you have successfully logged in, you should now be taken to the Main Menu.
