The level is calculated by which check items are done. But the user has no way of seeing this interactively.

A fairly complex javascript function should calculate this by being aware of of which checks are required.

I think I will subscribe to this chat room - way over my head but still
quite intriguing...

It seems questionable that the "required" mark on a check was ever useful.

See image. Wouldn't it make sense to say that only required checks really matter? Why would for instance a non required check prevent someone from obtaining the level it's associated with.

It's now much easier to work in javascript with this stuff. JS solution is probably better than previous python one since I don't think it makes sense to consider non required checks at all. But this needs to be verified.

Right now green boxes and level still don't match.

Decided to keep with the method the backend uses.

Fixed. Green boxes will now always match the level.
