This year we are required by DOL to visit each company job site at least once . In this meeting we need to
* Confirm that the student participants are employed in compliance with applicable child labor and minimum wage provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act
* Document the students' tasks
* State the name, address and title of the person who conducted the review and the date
* We need to keep this information by student. In other words, if we make a site visit to a company (and observe one student at work), for DOL requirements this counts as visiting all the students on the team to document the above.
The information on the students tasks could be reportable under the report manager
We also had various metrics which we built into the CRA reporting process as shown below
Site Visits
Company work team job sites visited once (each work team listed and then a total count)
Company sites visited more than once (same)
Company sites not visited (each work team listed and then total count)
Contracts
Contract for company uploaded into SWORD (we already have this but it would be helpful to get a list of contracts missing)
Mentoring
Names of students met with by grade level
Names of students not met with by grade level
Please give this some thought
