| Issue 121: | Make-up Days linked to absences | |
| 1 person starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.The attendance and the time sheets for make-up days should link after submission of an online time sheet 2. The students makeup the day and submit a time sheet 3. The attendance still shows they owe a day and no action occurs until someone manually checks the timesheets and updates the attendance record What is the expected output? What do you see instead? We would like students to be able to schedule the makeup day online and then when they submit the timesheet for the makeup day it should link to the missed day and enter the date it was made up or say confirmed or something close to that. Or if the student doesnt make the day up it will just somehow state make-up day scheduled but not completed so that we could follow up with the student on either rescheduling or creating a timesheet if they actually made the day up. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and browser? Please provide any additional information below. Let me know if this is possible.

Sounds good, I think getting it done for next year would be awesome! IF we get extra help can we extend the extra hands to you for additional support on this??

JD, We obviously didn't get this done last summer. We probably just have to make the switch now since summers are a very busy time too. Proposal: If a student is absent on a his/her work day, a cwsp attendance is automatically created with link to the original (and that data such as why student was absent). The work study staff then goes in and fills out details. To make this easier we can allow you to edit fields in the "change list view" see attached. You could still put in your own days if desired, but you would probably want to have the front desk take care of it as to not have duplicates.

This was fixed awhile ago. We made it optionally semi automatic as described above.
