Introduction

This is intended to describe the flow of actions to clarify the way code would be looked at and tested.

Flow

  1. Pages are spliced together in the order topAndLeft.php, content.php and menu.php
    • topAndLeft.php contains the banner and the left borders.
    • menu.php contains the menu bar on the right.
    • content.php is what all end-user diplayed pages are substituted in for.
  2. the main page by default calls content.php.
  3. The user chooses to Log-in and is taken to registration.php
  4. registration.php has a form which calls completeRegistration.php which in turn calls registerUser.php.
  5. The administrator enters the blurb for the week using enterBlurb.php which calls writeBlurb.php.
  6. The user checks the blurb either by going home (content.php) to check the current week, or to displayBlurbs.php to see all blurbs.
  7. The admistrator enters the spreads/lines for the week by going to enterLines.php which calls writeLines.php.
  8. The user bets on the lines by going to enterPicks.php which calls writePicks.php.
  9. The administrator enters the scores for the completed week by going to enterScores.php which calls writeScores.php.
  10. The administrator updates all information for the week and re-ranks the users by going to updateWeek.php.
  11. the user checks the standings by going to displayStandings.php
