Issue 117: fixed, working with 3.0/3.0.1 firmware
Status:  New
Owner: ----
Reported by sitdowns...@gmail.com, Aug 27, 2009
firstly, theres no way to customize which ones show up or not, no "settings"
button.....

add http://cy.sosiphone.com to your sources in cydia
install statusnotifier 2.11-1 (compatible with 3.0/3.0.1)
currently displays the icons on home screen and lock screen as well, and it
doesn't erase your lockscreen picture if user lock background is enabled in
winterboard.

still waiting for settings panel but at least its not 2.10 which turns my
background black when locked.

The settings for 2.11 are in the System Settings App. However, sound notification is
not working for me either (3G, 3.0.1)

Okay, I think I broke the code on getting sound reminders going in 2.11. Here's the
problem... the property in the prefs file that is changed when you enable a sound
reminder in the system Settings app is not the same on the StatusNotifier is reading.

Here's a workaround: Go to User:Library:Preferences:com.otyo.StatusNotifier.plist
copy the file to your Mac. Edit the file with Mac's Property List Editor or any text
editor such as BB Edit or Text Wrangler. For each notification, you will see two
entries: "enableReminderXXX" and "reminderXXX" where XXX is a notification such as
Call, SMS, etc. Change the enableReminder XXX setting to Yes (or true) for those you
want on. (These are the properties that StatusNotifier is reading.) You can ignore
the reminderXXX properties since even though these are the ones being set in the
system Settings app, they are ignored by StatusNotifier 2.11.

While you’re in the prefs file, you can set the precise numberOfReminders and
reminderInterval that you desire (much easier than the sliders in Settings). If you
want to turn sound on or off, you can still do this in the Settings app and your
chosen reminders will be unaffected.

Copy the plist file back to your phone and don’t forget to ReSpring after making the
changes. You should be good to go.
