This isn't a defect or a bug but more of a request/personal preference.

I have a VERY full springboard and adding another item there is
problematic. I was thinking (and without knowing what future plans you
have) it makes more sense to me (at least) to instead of adding another
item to the springboard, wouldn't it make more sense to add it to the
settings panel as other programs such as AIM or Last.fm do?

This strikes me as a more logical place and removes extra icons on the
springboard.

Perhaps this is not possible (I don't know your underlying code) or
perhaps nobody else feels this way - just thought I'd put it out there!
Maybe it's possible to have a toogle in if for people to have it in their
prefered spot? Maybe you have a ton of plans on the books and this is too
much of a request from someody who can't program themselves but you rarely
get things you don't ask for! :)

I love your program! Please don't take this in a negative way at all, I am
thrilled with it all around, I just saw this as a way to (in my opinion)
add to what was already an amazing program that Apple should have done in
v.01 of the OS themselves!

in the mean time you can take it off the springboard by adding it to the Bossprefs internal dock.
it's a sensible place to put it, with all other toggles. dont you agree?
if you have Bossprefs installed, of course.
:-)
