I'm running Windows XP with no theme (just the default display) and the button is also
invisible. I'll check my other laptop later as I have Win 7 on that and I do have a
theme on Firefox.

Selenium version: IDE 2.0
OS: Win XP w/Service Pack 3
Browser: Firefox
Browser version: 21.0

Follow-up: on my Win 7 system, the Selenium button IS visible. I also have a Ranma 1/2
browser theme which may or may not make a difference.

Selenium version: IDE 2.0.0
OS: Windows 7
Browser: Firefox
Browser version: 21.0

Hi,

I have seen the issue, but I am not able to reproduce it on any of my Windows installations.
Therefore fixing this is kind of a shot in the dark. I am in the process of releasing
Selenium IDE v2.1.0 and it will be out soon. Please try Selenium IDE v2.1.0 and let
me know if my changes fixed this issue.

It seems the Selenium IDE is not properly installed.
What I did worked for me.
Steps
1. View > Toolbars > Customize then drag Selenium icon to menu area(right side of 'Help')
2. Click on it then it will warn you that Selenium has not been installed and guide
you to installation page. Download and install it.
3. After installing click on Selenium icon on the menu bar then it should open the
Selenium IDE now

Folks,

I am using MacBook Air (10.8.3) and Firefox (23.0.1). I installed Selenium Expert .25
and I can't seem to spot it anywhere on the browser. I used this link - http://release.seleniumhq.org/selenium-ide/2.3.0/selenium-ide-2.3.0.xpi
and I was able to see the icon.

It also installs a lot of formatters and I disabled everything except the Expert.

I've noticed that the icon appears when the toolbar is set to 'icons and text' or when
the 'small icons' box is ticked, but the icon is blank when 'icons only' is selected
and 'small icons' is not.

This is firefox 24.0 and selenium 2.4.0, on Windows 7

Hi,

I finally managed to lay my hands on a Windows machine with the issue. Should be fixed
in the next release (2.5.0). Please check and reopen / create a new issue if you find
it not fixed.

Cheers,
Samit

download selenium id from http://www.seleniumhq.org/download/ and install it manuallay.
Go to Adons-> and click Setting icon on left side on search adons text box. Select
option Install Adon from file and setup it.

This will definitely resolve issue.
