Greetings everyone,

Here is a quick mail to inform you that we just tagged 2-1.12, we
highly suggest anyone
to upgrade.

New feature:
1- spo_syslog_full now support ascii and base64 and hex payload format.
   (Feature requested by Jorge Pinto)

Bug Fix:
1- Fixed Compilation error with postgresql supporting PQPing()
    (Thanks to Jason ish)

2- Fixed a bug when generating data for the signature_reference  database table
   (Thanks to Marin Olsson)

3- Fix a segfault in TextLog_Print() due to a format string error.
   (Thanks to Reed Loden)

4- Fix a possible rescurive call in sguil output module
   (Thanks to Victor Julien)

Hey Doug, Team,

Could you provide us with ./configure string for barnyard2 ? 
I have serious barnyard2 segfault issue that drives me crazy I am thinking of 
manual recompilation of beta, cloned from github.

Download our source package like this:
apt-get source securityonion-barnyard2

The source package will show you exactly how we compile barnyard2 including the 
./configure string.
