From cybageus...@gmail.com on June 12, 2013 23:39:49 Hi, I am not sure if developer used Actionbarsherlock? I am having only APK file and using that I am doing automation. Also could you please provide more detail on "Does the bar belong to another process?" ...Many Thanks! |
From renasr...@gmail.com on June 13, 2013 08:46:43 Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about this. Robotium gets the views from the platform. If ActionbarlSherlock is used or the bar belongs to another process then Robotium is not allowed (by the Android platform) to interact with it. Status: Invalid |
From alai...@gmail.com on August 12, 2013 02:49:12 so there is no solution or hack for testing apk that uses actionbar sherlock ? |
From renasr...@gmail.com on August 12, 2013 02:51:18 Maybe this extension can help: https://github.com/atermenji/robotium-actionbarsherlock |

From itsprabh...@gmail.com on April 16, 2015 02:58:11 I wanted to click on menu bar but was not able to do it easily , Then finally did it using solo.clickOnButton(int index), For me there was just one menu bar , So I was able to click it easily, You can try it too. Its a long shot , You might have to guess it. |

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.I have tried with below code
solo.clickOnMenuItem("Notes");
solo.clickOnActionBarItem(id);
solo.clickOnImage(index);
solo.clickOnText("Notes");
but it did not click on the expected menu item. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It should click on the 'Notes' text/image and open the respective screen/activity. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? using emulator platform 4.2.2 with API level 17. Please provide any additional information below.
