Introduction

Following the design notes documentation to build our Project Plan.

Details

Game Title: TANK WARS

High Concept: You move tanks around a map

UI Design Concepts

Gameplay Environment

Setting:

Perspective: Isometric

Challenges: Destroy all of the other players tanks to win the map

Mechanics:

Actions:

Gameplay States

Commander:

  • Move (Position tank?)
  • Standby (Cancel all commands?)
  • Flank attack (includes ambush?)
Some other strategies (do these need to be states - probably not):

Tank:

  • Sit
  • Chase
  • Retreat
  • Position (Move into position?)/(Follow strategic movement command?)

Turret:

  • Rotate
  • Shoot
  • Rest
