What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log into Jabber Account.
2. Try to send a message to a buddy, who uses Pidgin >= 2.7 or Meebo.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The buddy should receive the message. Instead he only sees "abc is typing...", but the message isn't sent or gets rejected.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I'm running Prosody with pyicqt 0.8.1.5 on Ubuntu 10.04 Server

Please provide any additional information below.

There are no interesting log messages in /var/log/pyicqt/pyicqt.log.
It's working correctly with following constellations:
 * Kopete -> Pidgin <= 2.6.6
 * Kopete -> original ICQ Client

It is also working, if I restart pyicqt. After a few seconds it stops working correctly.

If I can provide any further information, please tell me.
