Can you add synchronization with icq serverside contactlist (even with groups)?

Define synchronization =) It should be synced up now ... except for the
groups. If you specifically mean the groups, that's a different story. =/
There doesn't appear to be a really good way to handle the groups. I tried and
failed. =D It looks like Roster Item Exchange -might- do the trick, but I'm
not sure. Anyway, is groups just what you are referring to or?

transport (im new to jabber so i am a bit lost like seeing new game for first
time (:) and did not saw it in features so i tought it don't synchronise at all
but now i see i mean only to synchronise goups ... and i think that is last
thing i miss on jabber.

i just tried py-icq / py-aim...
i recognized, that py-icq is not working, you get the
——
ICQ connection lost! Reason: [Failure instance: Traceback (failure with no
frames): twisted.internet.error.ConnectionLost: Connection to the other
side was
lost in a non-clean fashion.
]
error, but when you use the py-aim gateway instead with icq it works fine.
the only bad thing is, that py-aim moves all the contacts from their original
groups to a group named "pyICQ/pyAIM".
it would be nice if it could leave them in their original groups.

It would be nice, but it's not that easy unfortunately. =) I can't even
pass a
suggestion as to where the group goes given the current architecture. What I
need is Roster Item Exchange support, but that's not built yet. =) So,
will be
a little while before we can see this.
