ProjectRSSIntroductionRSS is a Web content syndication format. ProjectRSS is an extended version of RSS capable of describing project attributes with the goal of giving organizations a standard way to syndicate their work. RSS has become the most popular way to publish and share information. It has been adopted by news sites and blogs alike. While RSS is great for new blog posts, it falls short of describing new projects as they are formed. The philanthropic sector, for example, has organizations all over the world working on amazing projects yet no standard way to publishing this. Don't reinvent the wheelMany data fields, like location and media, have already been described by other open standards. The aim of this standard is to reuse existing industry standard where possible, and only adding new fields where no standard exists. We have adopted the follow open standards:
