What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select the "K" menu
2. Go to OWASP Live CD menu item
3. Select the Start msfweb item

What is the expected output?
Metasploit web should be in a newly opened Firefox window

What do you see instead?
Firefox loaded with "Page Load Error" saying it failed to connect to
127.0.0.1:55555.

Workaround:

(1) First try the "Try again" button on the Firefox error page. Sometimes Firefox
seems to start faster than msfweb

(2) Second try re-launching msfweb from the OWASP Live CD menu. This has worked for
me 100% of the time.

BTW, you can check for it running by entering 'netstat -ptln' in a terminal and look
for "ruby msfweb" answering on port 55555.

The experience that I've had with both msfweb and WebGoat is that if Firefox is
running when either is launched then the Page Load Error will be observed. If
Firefox is not running then the delay is adequate and the applications launch as
expected. As noted above, hitting the "Try Again" button works fine.
