| Issue 14: | Impossible to delete jobs from the volcom user (or other volunteer that has 'volcom member' status) | |
| 2 people starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
Log in as the volcom user or other.
Click on 'See Jobs' on the top center of the page (one of the options on
the grey strip).
A search engine appears, and under that a list of jobs, and when selected
the English language (see issue number 13 to see problem when changing the
languages) a 'new' button under the bottom right corner of that list.
Now you can either click 'new' (and create a new job to try to delete) or
use one of the tests I created (titled 'Trial' and 'Test' respectively).
Chose one of the jobs listed, and look under the 'Actions' column. There is
a 'pencil and blank paper' drawing (to edit the job) and a red 'x' (to
delete/destroy the job).
Then you click on that red 'x'. A window appears, that says 'Are you sure
you want to delete Test?' (the name changes, of course, if you're trying to
delete 'Trial', and I assume it always sayd the name or title of the job).
You can 'Accept' or 'Cancel' (in reality, in my computer it says 'Aceptar'
and 'Cancelar', the Spanish versions of both. I'm making the supposition
that it's giving me a literal translation of the original words in English.
If not, surely it gives you two options, no matter what they're called, one
to say 'yes, I want to delete' and another to say 'no').
Clicking 'Cancel' doesn't do anything except to make the new window go away.
Clicking 'Accept' makes the page reload, but when it realoads, the job is
still there.
I've tried logging in and out, using the same profile I created the jobs
with and a different one, and changing the language. None of those make it
work.
I've tried doing the same to volunteers. I went to 'See volunteers'/'New'
(and the equivalent: 'Add new volunteer'), created a new volunteer
('hele2') and then went to the list and deleted it. In this case, the
'delete/destroy' red 'x' button under the 'Actions' column works perfectly
well (that means that when responding 'Accept' at the window that popped up
to ask you if you're sure you want to delete, the page reloads, and the
volunteer doesn't exists in the reloaded page).
I'm using Windows XP and Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.12
Thanks,
hele.
