The "comments" links were NOT based on any official Google API. It seems the 
methods stopped working recently. The "issue" method is currently returning 
this:

simply stopped working. We are forced to respond with a simple placeholder in 
our "services/apiref/issue" method.

I also fixed the JavaScript code so that the "Comments" links are displayed 
properly again, but the comment counts won't be there anymore...
