How did you do it?

That would be awesome, but we have

- 3 main menu background
- 2 difficulty backround
- 2 load/save background
- 1 settings background

How did you do it?

2 hours of Photoshop.

I'll do them one at a time...just tell me the names of the files.

Btw.: You never said anything about the splashscreen I send you via mail :(

I'll keep my splashscreen, and somebody else offered me to redo some part of
it. I didn't want to use one of the IG1 boxart for the splash due the IG2 DLC.

I think that image might be still copyrighted by a single artist and contains
affiliations.

Start2 finally has it's spaceship in the upper right corner restored instead of
this ugly composed "something" I created before:

Just to be sure: open-ig-0.94.366 doesn't include the changes does it?

oh...I thought you would remove those grey boxes at least on the start menus :(

The menu colors and the background colors sometimes conflict. If I only put
darkening around the menu text only, it doesn't feel better:

Why did you even needed a new cleaned background for this one:

http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/6979/java2012042921491786.jpg

The way it's being used your background was totally fine...you don't actually
see much of the image anyway.

Just look at DOS IG. It can work:

DOS IG's main menu is hard to read that way. Lots of light-light collisions are
in the menus, it's hard to do it without black boxes. Usually, such screen
graphics are designed with the menu location in mind
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=NC_HhWUDFOI#t=8s).

The cleanup had its reason from start: we might show more one day.
