I've installed this dictionary but how do I use it now

Comment by project member ugotemailed@gmail.com, Aug 6, 2008

You have to be connected to the internet when you use it. You just type the word in the search box and either press the button or enter.

harmpuri, What exactly are you having trouble with in using it? You type the definition in the search box and press enter. Make sure you are connected to the internet.

I guess the problem is that it is not clear where the search box would appear. Is there a key combination for it to pop up? A toolbar needs to be added? I couldn't find a guide that would explain that simple aspect. Also, I think that it would be great if someone could develop such an extension but one that would pop up on a key shortcut at the bottom of the page (just like CTRL+F in firefox) and would search/define the already selected word. If it had the thesaurus functionality of dictionary.com would be outright phenomenal.

Hello Eric,

I just installed the EasyDict? oo extension. It work well under OO release 3.

Very easy to use. A sub menu is added under Tool >> Language >> EasyDict?.

Thank you for this nice oo extension. I may search words with having to open my web browser (Firefox).

would be very handy to have either a key command to open easydict or have it appear in a right click menu
