What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Load a test page in IE7 and Firefox 2. The page in IE7 will be positioned outside of the view port. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It positions the modal window in the wrong place in IE7. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? * Windows XP professional * jquery-1.2.6.pack.js * jquery.nyroModal-1.2.8.pack.js Please provide any additional information below. I would like to start of by saying thanks for your work. nyroModal is great! :) The demos on your site work fine in IE7. It only seems to be when I am using it. But I can not figure out what the difference is. I have a test set up that displays the positioning error at : * http://dev.blackdoge.com:8080/wft/html/test2.html. It loads fine in FireFox (and IE6) but not in IE7. thanks in advance -- and once again thanks for your development efforts! :)

I had the same kind of problem with an other issue. The solution is to define a doctype at the top of your page. For some reason, IE7 doesn't work properly without it... With a transitional, it's working great: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
