I wanted to be able to set up settings for a modal DIV that were different
from the default - but without overriding all of my defaults. Therefore, I
wanted to manually call up a nyroModal div. We'll call it #myDiv (id="myDiv")

The documentation does not show how to do this, and nothing in the
documentation (even after I figured it out) makes any sense for this.

I kept trying different things in the settings parameter of the
.nyroModalManual function call, such as:

type: 'div'
type: '#myDiv'

After searching high and low, I finally found out that the way to manually
call up a div is:

url: '#myDiv'

This is non-intuitive, and not documented properly. It would be great if
it were documented.

Did you check on the wiki?
Because there is a page which explains how to do it:
http://nyromodal.nyrodev.com/wiki/index.php/Manually_open_a_modal_using_a_DOM_element
