Is there any workaround besides wmode=transparent so that nyromodal would work properly independent of this flash parameter?

You may also hide every flash movie on your page using a callback. What's the problem with wmode=transparent?

Hiding flash movies is a nice idea. Thanks! I'm using a content management system and some content contributors on my site directly pastes flash object/embed tags on their content. I can't tell them to add wmode=transparent as it might be a complex task for some of them, not to mention it might break the site layout if they've incorrectly done this.

Ok. An other solution might be to add the wmode=transparent with a regex expression when the content is saved. Enjoy using this plugin ;)

I'm looking for a javascript only solution since I'm not yet prepared to work on extending/modifying the CMS. Hiding flash movies is a great idea. Thanks a lot! I didn't expect an answer this fast :) |
