I don't know what can I do to remove the links accessible via the tab key when a
modal is shown...
If somebody has an idea...

I have the same problem. This is indeed very important because of accessibility
issues, for example blind people navigate the site through the keyboard.

My suggestion is to change the tab focus to the CLOSE BUTTON of the modal... then, if
the user presses ENTER, the modal is closed. The tab focus should then go back to
where is was when the modal was opened.

I don't know if this can be done... I'm trying to do it myself but I'm very poor at
javascript (that's why I need jQuery in the first place, hehehe.... I'm not a
programmer).

The focus of the link should be removed since v1.5.1.

The problem described here by brijesh.y.amin, is that link above the modal are still
avaible using the tab key.

I had this problem in an application and it was fixed.

Solution:
When the popup (Modal dialog) is displayed change the tabindex of all the necessery
elements (buttons , links etc.) to -1 or some other value like 1000 I do not remember
exactly what value I used. When the popup is closed I restore the tabindex to
previous value.

Make sure that the tabindex value of the elements of <DIV> (Modal Popup) are set to
proper value insted of -1 or 1000. This will alow keyboard navigation for the
controles in Popup (Modal Dialog).

Any better solution any one has???
