My web site (http://www.importscosmeticos.com) use this plugin to
substitute pop-up windows and as ligthbox.

When the pop-up opens in IE7 and scroll down the page, the overlay ends in
the bottom of the initial visible area (i.e. the height still in almost
700px) and the modal don't scroll with the page.

I am using the latest version of this plugin and the latest version of
jquery, what i can do to sholve this problem.

Ps. The site use a table based layout, it can case this problem ?

Thanks and sorry for this bad english, i am from Brazil.

Could you try by removing your first white line before the doctype?
I already some weird bug when the doctype wasn't declared in the very first line of
the HTML page..

I am seeing this behavior as well.

The overlay background works fine in Firefox and fills the entire browser window
space. However, in IE, it only fills the initial viewing area, so when the user
scrolls down, the overlay background stops and the user can see the underlying page
and can manipulate it.

Unfortunately, I am using nyroModal in a portal environment, so I do not have control
over the HTML doctype.

I'm seeing something very simular..

I Scroll down the page, click a thumb to display the lightbox and the lightbox
renders at the top of the page (Out of sight!).

Happen in IE7 & 8, also in IE6 I have seem an error appear on the first enrty of the
page, but after that it seemed OK.

Also if the browser is not in quirks mode the lightbox works fine.

Any Ideas?

as I said, if the doctype line is not the very first line of the source page, IE will
have some trouble to work correctly for some weird reasons.
I can't help you more with that. If you're using a portal or any kind of open-source
code, I'm sure you can remove these white lines, but you'll need to get deep into the
code.

@n8cshaw and @dcl.nevoweb: maybe you have others troubles. I can check it out if you
can send me a link.

Thank you!!
Changing the doc type worked out :-)..
Before - and with IE error:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"

New - and with no IE error:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
