novoQuad

Overview

Introduction / Summary

novoQuad is an open source (C / C++) quadcopter project for Radio Control (RC) enthusiasts refactored, more accurately re-written, from the AeroQuad effort to support the Collaborative Processor Architecture (CPA) of the novoOHP open hardware microcontroller.

Mission

The mission of the novoQuad project is provide RC enthusiasts with a intermediately priced platform to experiment with Partially Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (PA-UAVs).

Project Status

Pending Initial Upload. The initial community release of the project should occur during the second quarter of 2011.

Platform

Firmware: C/C++ -- In order to contribute to this community effort you will need to obtain the novoDev IDE (see sidebar link).
