when you say "error thrown"... what error is thrown? does anything useful show up in the error log? does flexbuilder even have an error log? if i had to guess, the problem is that the plugin relies on services provided by an eclipse widget that doesn't ship with flexbuilder.

This may not be much help, but for me, rule #1 of installing FlexBuilder is to avoid the stand-alone version at all costs. It works fine if you use it for FlexBuilder ONLY, but who can do that with the bounty that is eclipse. Try installing Eclipse natively and then adding FlexBuilder in using the plug-in version. It's much happier that way. I'm running FlexBuilder and a bunch of other plug-ins including mxbuilder and it works fine. |
